Now Every Customer of Caltex Can Pay Through Wing Money App

April 1, 2020

Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank and Chevron (Cambodia) Limited are partnering up to make things easier for customers at Caltex service stations.

From now on, drivers can use the Wing Money App to make digital payments at all Caltex service stations. Thanks to this partnership, Caltex – operated by Chevron (Cambodia) Limited — will deploy the latest in Wing’s digital payment technology. That means customers can pay for goods and services at convenience stores, cafés and Lube Bay outlets at Caltex Stations all through the Wing Money App with just a few swipes.

“Now, our customers do not need to carry any cash with them when visiting a Caltex service station. All you need is the Wing Money App to get access to convenient, secure and instant payments”, said Manu Rajan, Wing CEO. “The partnership is a natural fit. Together, our two companies will help Cambodians drive on into the future of Digital Payments”

Over the past 11 years, Wing has grown to be Cambodia’s most trusted mobile money and electronic payment service provider with more than 5 million customers and close to 40,000 merchant points. Today, Wing services are used by Cambodian customers from all walks of life, from local market vendors to the likes of Mastercard, Western Union, MoneyGram, WeChat, and Alipay.

“We are very pleased to be partnering with Wing, one the best mobile banking companies in Cambodia, in offering hassle-free payment solutions to Caltex customers,” said Daniel Hwang, Product Manager of Chevron (Cambodia). “We’re upgrading our payment systems to provide greater convenience by taking a step into the revolution of digitalization.”

Chevron (Cambodia) Limited has grown fast since first establishing itself in 1995. Now, there are 28 Caltex service stations in the country, 18 of which are in the capital city of Phnom Penh. Chevron (Cambodia) Limited also operates 17 Star Mart convenience stores, 22 Coffee Plus gourmet cafés, and 3 Lube Bay outlets across the Kingdom.

To get this partnership rolling, eight Caltex service stations have been equipped with Wing’s digital payment service, with more soon to come. Motorists can find those service stations already upgraded at the following locations: Pochentong, Chroy Changvar, the corner of Monivong and Preah Sihanouk Blvd, Bokor, Calmette Hospital, Chak Angre Krom, Boeung Trabek and Pet Loksang.

Both Wing and Chevron (Cambodia) share the same vision of improving daily life in Cambodia with innovative solutions. Wing has built its brand with convenient, secure and instant money transfer services, all of which have been made possible with technology like the Wing Money App and the work of more than 7,500 Wing Cash Xpress agents stationed across Cambodia. Meanwhile, Chevron (Cambodia) is known for its broad network of clean, safe Caltex stations, each delivering top-notch service in a respectful and helpful way.
