About Me:
My name is Solinda Souspich, an accounting graduate from Vanda Institute. Since I was studying in high school in 2014, I was already working and studying at the same time. I worked as an assistant teacher in a private school in Phnom Penh.
Some of my friends waited until they graduate to find the job; while for me I did it differently. I believe I can push further so I decided to join an internship program at Wing three months prior to my university graduation. It seems like my effort really paid me off – after three months at Wing, I was promoted as a full-time staff as Finance Support Officer.
My Passion:
I am a fan of doing Yoga since it is fixed to my gentle personality. Yoga helps me reduce stress and feel relaxed. I take Yoga as encouragement for me to push myself forward and I also hope that everyone should do regular exercise. Without exercise, everyone is trying to limit themselves as a result they cannot do further. This habit will continue on whatever activities you do, regardless whether you’re working, exercising, or studying – and we need to change this habit.
My Opportunity
As I pushed myself forward, I am able to launch my first professional career after doing three months internship with Wing. I did my internship in customer service division, but the company sees my potential in the field of finance and allow me to pursue my career in finance department. Working with Wing gives me an experience to work for the leader of financial technology or fintech in Cambodia, where the new era of banking is introduced.
About Wing
Wing is a workplace where every staff receive a great care and the benefits to its full potential. Two words that I can describe about Wing are team work and good environment. It is only when every staff consider everyone as a family that they keep respecting each other and helping to solve any problems that the team is facing. It is a workplace where each and every one of us work hard to achieve the best result and continue to have a strong team spirit.
My Advice
I suggest you to develop your future career at Wing since you will not only get the work experience, but also learn the ways to work together to become successful and to achieve the team goal. It is good that you try to get exposed to the real working experience before you graduate from the university and Wing is always there to welcome you. Please stop saying "you cannot" since you will never know how far you can go when you say "you can".
