Job Responsibilities

  • Research, Identity and develop credit training need to all new/existing staff where appropriate from writing up Credit Memo to Loan disbursement to ensure they well trained before performing their duty.
  • Conduct research and analyse credit training and development activities to develop new credit training programs or modify and improve existing program in order expedite the process improvement faster with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop training guideline, annual credit training plan and manage and monitor the budget of credit training and
  • development and ensure consistency of allocation.
  • Keep up to date with training methodologies and courses on subjects relevant to Business Unit, Credit Assessment, Credit admin and relevant Branches/Department if needed.
  • Manage training delivery, measurement and follow-up credit training quality as necessary.
  • Provide coaching and monitoring support to Lending staff in training efforts, provide effective growth and development opportunities
  • Develop and implement administrative processes, including databases, to ensure training activities are recorded and reported on both internal and external.
  • Monitor staff under subordinates to organize credit training venues, logistics, accommodation as required, to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, Finance and Banking or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing or related field
  • At least two years of management experience in banking or micro-finance sector with one year of organisation level management experience.
  • Staff supervision, training/coaching and management experience.
  • Good written and spoken English, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident public speaker.
  • High motivation and ability to work without supervision.
  • Willing to travel to branches.
  • Strong communication skills, writing up Credit memo, admin work and Core banking System (i.e. Flexcube)
  • Good understanding of the Cambodian bank and microfinance industry.
  • Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) and good understanding and working experience of MIS for bank or micro-finance.
