Three Cambodian Won Grand Prizes from Wing International Money Transfer Service Promotion

January 10, 2019

Phnom Penh – January 10, 2019: Three Cambodian living and working in South Korea have been selected to receive grand prizes offered by Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank through its International Money Transfer (IMT) promotion. The three lucky winners have been chosen via the bank’s electronic lucky draw held on January 09 at Wing’s head office.

The three winners, each receiving grand prize worth 300USD, 700USD, and 1,000USD respectively, are among thousands of senders who regularly send the money to their loved one in Cambodia through Wing’s IMT partners including DeeMoney, GME, Gmoney Trans, Hanpass, KB Kookmin Bank, and SBI, locating in Thailand and South Korea in between May 15 – December 14, 2018.

Mr. Manu Rajan, Wing’s Chief Commercial Officer, said during the lucky draw that the IMT promotion has been one of many interesting promotions offered by Wing and we (Wing) would like to show our thankfulness to the friends and families of our customers who have taken part in this promotion by sending the money into the wallet of our Wing customers in Cambodia.

Wing’s IMT inbound service has been introduced since February 2018, enabling thousands of Cambodian migrant workers to be able to send the money home. The service does not only help solve the main concern for these migrant workers around the uncertainty in sending money home through informal channels – often expensive or untrustworthy. Wing’s IMT’s services stay true to the bank’s committment in providing Cambodian with affordable and covenient access to financial services, thereby improving their standard of living.

Recently, Wing has just introduced “Wing2World”, an IMT services including existing inbound money transfer from 200 countries and the new outbound service, with the Phillipines and Vietnam as the first two corridors available. The new service provides access to thousands of migrant workers and their beneficiaries, as well as expats residing in the kingdom.
