Wing and Ria Money Transfer team up to advance cross-border fund transfers

Now, Ria Money Transfer customers can send funds to Cambodia with Wing

Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank, Cambodia’s leading mobile banking services provider, is expanding inbound transactions to the Kingdom through a partnership with Ria​ Money​ Transfer​, a global leader in the cross-border money transfer industry and subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: EEFT).

Customers can now use Ria services to send money into Cambodia, where recipients can cash out through any Wing Cash Xpress Agent branded with the Ria logo. There’s no fee charged at the receiver end, making the process easy and accessible to all.

Recipients in Cambodia only have to bring their original national ID card, passport or driving license and the 11-digit PIN code provided by the sender. With that in hand, they can then fill out the Wing recipient form and cash out funds through more than 4,000 Wing Agents showing the Ria logo.

According to the National Bank of Cambodia, Cambodian migrants sent home about $1.4 billion in remittances in 2018 alone. About $53 million of that came from South Korea.
